The Briksdal Glacier is located in the northern end of the Jostedalsbreen National Park in Norway. The hike up to the glacier takes about an hour from the Briksdal Mountain Lodge, located 22km from the picturesque town of Olden. The hike from the lodge is fairly easy walking and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Briksdal was one of a series of photographs that Norman produced from his time in the national park. This image shows the mountains to the west of Briksdal.
